The tent the boys are using is a Polish army poncho tent. The theory is that two army soldiers when out on manoeuvres button their ponchos together to create a tent.
I have used this tent before with Jake and Lorcán in October 2011 during some serious thunderstorms. The tent didn't hold up and we had the worst night camping in history.
Jake is away on an adventure camp and I have been texting him about the boys adventures in the poncho....his last text was " No...
don't use it, don't you remember the last time we slept in it!!!!".
The boys used the workshop to cook and prepare their evening meal. The meal was a medley of noodles, sausages, eggs and of course beans ( glad I wasn't sleeping in that tent after that menu ). Kieran played his guitar and Lorcán played his saxophone and they both chatted to the wee small hours, bathed in fairy lights.
